Play time on devices should be fun and with Pango Blocks it makes playtime educational too. Pango Blocks is an puzzle and logic game developed by Studio Pango. The app features 5 puzzle based stories where the protagonist Pango is tasked with helping his friends find object they need.

With 40 progressive levels the app is designed to help with the development of cognitive and problem solving skills for early learners.

In each scenario Pango is faced with various levels of challenges and kids are required to solve each level with shapes provided. If the puzzles isn't solved correctly at each level Pango and your child cannot move to the next level. (Don't worry Pango will give you hints along the way)

Logic, Creativity & Ingenuity all play a part to solve problems in Pango Blocks

As kids progress they are introduced to various other shapes and objects that allow Pango to overcome different obstacles, each level increasing in complexity to further understand spacial awareness.

Along the ways kids are asked to mix, match and stack multiple objects to solve problems and with the completion of each adventure kids are rewarded with entertaining animated stories with quirky outcomes featuring Pango's cheeky friends.

In the later levels kids are presented with more complex concepts and shapes. With more shapes and object types at their disposal kids have the option to improvise and start analyzing outcomes. What's nice is that some problems just require a little creativity and ingenuity and things can still work if they try.

In summary Pango Blocks is a good introduction to puzzles as it isn't challenging upfront and it progresses in difficulty based on the players. The funny story rewards provide enough incentive for kids to achieve their goals with Pango as well.

Features of the app include the ability for parents to set Easy or Hard to account for true beginners and advanced users and the option to add multiple users is great so that more than one child can play the app without affecting other players and their progress.

The design of elements are large so running the app on smaller screen devices are fine but running it on an iPad 12.9 as we did the large resolution offered a better view of details and finer placements of objects.Either way Pango Block is a fun and educational app worth the USD2.99*.
