Even Peter Pan characters from the 1953 classic are included in Disney Buddies which are a great way for parent to reminisce in their childhood while introducing them to some all time classics.

As a bundle Disney offers a Number version of Disney Buddies that let kids count beyond 10 and all the way up to 20.

In the same fashion as Disney ABCs, kids can interact with all their favorite Pixar characters some as recent as Baymax from Big Hero 6. Here kids just have to patch the 5 holes to stop Baymax fron deflating like in the movie.

Kids can join in the fun and harvest carrots with Winnie and Rabbit with simple taps. It was cute to see all the classic characters redrawn in a new toddler like style.

Even Bambi from the 1942 classic was brought in to join in the fun, he too was redawn with the new Buddies approach and is still adorable as ever.


Overall it was great so see all the Disney and Pixar Buddies come together in these educational apps and the updated approach would definitely appeal to the newer generation. Both apps work great on smartphones as seen in our demos and it's always a plus to have learning apps available on the go.

The inclusion of original classic characters and themes are a nice touch as that can help parents get involved in introducing their childhood favorites to their kids as well. Unfortunately both Disney Buddies ABCs and 123s only run on Apple Devices.

**UPDATE**
Unfortunately Disney have decided to retire the Disney Buddies series of apps and both these app are now unavailable at the app stores. The good news is that for those who purchased it before can still re-download it at any time from their purchase history and based on our test both the apps work fine on the iPad Pro 12.9 running the latest iOS 12. We hope Disney decides to bring these apps back as they are one of the better educational apps available.
